Gerald Celente, a financial player who got hit during the MF Global theft of 1.6 billion dollars, has released a powerful statement summarising where society is heading.
Gerald puts it into perspective through history repeating itself and recounts his grandmother’s story of the Nazi occupation of France.
Gerald’s grandmother said: “You don’t understand. We didn’t lose our rights in one day…. We didn’t lose them in a week or a year. It was slowly taken away from us, until you had no rights at all. Then, if you spoke out they would take you away and no one would ever hear from you again. You couldn’t even talk to your neighbors.”
Sounds familiar, eh? Yep. That is what is happening right now.
This is not about economics. This is not about politics. This is about society repeating the mistakes of the past.
Until we see everybody speaking out – telling the government and the financial institutions enough is enough – the story Gerald’s grandmother recounted is our future.
It is dressed up to seem as if we are somehow not in a situation that is as barbaric as the past. The media is covering for the government by pushing defensive news stories about ‘human rights’ and sports, scientific discoveries and regional politics. This is all a sideshow. This may have even been, exactly how it happened all those years ago when history was re-written to sensationalise and demonise the rise of fascism, when fascism is actually the Modus Operandi of the status quo.
